I have extensive experience with all types of mood disorders, substance abuse, life transitions and trauma and use a variety of approaches tailored to my clients needs and current abilities. One important part of my approach is having a goal of treating the actual underlying problem that has been causing distress, not just treating symptoms.
I am familiar and comfortable with a variety of alternative lifestyles and spiritual practices and use a mix of interventions to help bring balance to all aspects of a clients life. Body, mind and spirit in harmony is the goal.
My approach is holistic, integrative and includes interventions to help strengthen mind, body and spirit. The addition of neurotherapy to life style coaching, mindfulness training, coping skills development and other situationally appropriate therapeutic approaches has resulted in noticeable improvement in shorter time frames for many clients
